Yes, I’m sensitive to this issue. But so should all you ladies be, as well. If you’re not angry and get a reaction from seeing this, you’re not paying attention.
“In the Kitchen” jokes, comments about your body - good, bad, or kidding, being told to shut up, the expectation of sex for being taken out to dinner, abuse - verbal, emotional, and physical, cheating, and so much more are NOT okay.
I hope all my strong, fab ladies of tumblr realize this and that they deserve to be treated as an EQUAL human being to men. It is not about being “better” than men, or hating all beings with a penis, but learning to stand up for yourself when you are being treated differently and negatively for being genetically different.
You SHOULDN’T have to show your cleavage to be sexy, you SHOULDN’T have to act dumb or ditsy to get men to notice you or to think you’re “cute” - that is in reality FAR from attractive and give the rest of women a bad name when you act like that to please the man.
You SHOULDN’T have to enjoy just being fucked without any other type of forplay or pleasure done onto you, not all women simply enjoy being prodded. It’s a general MALE ideal and fantasy for them to not have to any extra work and to literally use your body to masturbate.

As a guy, let me add that is incumbent on us to call out fellows on their misogynist bullshit. Because giving your bro a pass when he pulls this shit is silent acceptance.
Fuck that “Not all men are like that”. A whole fucking lot of guys are, and that’s the fact. And until WE start standing up against this bullshit from other men, then we just have to butch the fuck up and take the hit of suspicion that we too could turn into one of those troglodytes in the blink of an eye.
